Linton is blessed with being one of the most unspoilt villages and off the beaten track. Its meandering Beck overlooked by a noble packhorse bridge and the unexpected grandeur of Fountaine’s Hospital will transport you to an age of wild romance. Linton is further historically endowed with the Fountaine Inn, now one of the best gastropubs in Yorkshire. Sandy Cottage is just 1½ miles from the lively social hub of Grassington with its cornucopia of shops and places to eat and drink, and within easy distance of neighbouring villages “up and down Dale”. And only 8 miles from Skipton “the Gateway to the Dales” means it’s easy to explore from this lovely part of the National Park both near and further afield.

" Sandy Cottage was perfectly situated for enjoying the beauty of this area and the many excellent nearby pub/restaurants . The cottage itself was clean ,well equipped and cosy - we would definitely return "
Dr Logan Nov 2019

" The cottage has lovely interior decoration- will be copying some of the design ideas! The kitchen contained everything we could possibly need and the courtyard at the back was so nice- we enjoyed a barbecue and sat in the sun in total privacy, surrounded by flowers. We hope to return some day. "

From Mrs B July 2019

" Well what can I say? This place is a hidden gem. You have to go to appreciate it. As soon as we entered the door we felt at home. Cosy, warm, quirky little house!!! I say little but really quite spacious for 5 people. We’ve been staying in cottages around the dales for over 10 years but this cottage stole the show!! Just book it! You’ll love everything about it. Perfect location, amazing owner ! This place will take a lot of beating. Love you Sandy Cottage..... see you again x"
